What is Mobile Physical Therapy?

Mobile physical therapy is the same as outpatient physical therapy, except I come to you. I bring a treatment table and basic equipment. Your treatment sessions will consist of an examination to determine what needs to be worked on. Many treatment sessions will include manual therapy to decrease your pain or improve your range of motion. Then I will teach you a customized strength and mobility exercise routine so you can target your weaknesses and get your injury to heal. In every session I will update your home exercises so you are continually making progress towards your goals.

Benefits of Mobile Physical Therapy:

  • 1-on-1: Because I don’t follow the traditional clinical model, I have more time to devote to you to help you understand your injury and manage your rehab. I don’t hand your care off to an assistant, and I help you from the beginning to the end of the session.

  • Flexibility: I can travel to you around your schedule

  • Consistency: patients benefit much more from learning how to do their exercises at home every day rather than going to a physical therapy clinic and using the clinic’s equipment only once or twice a week.

  • Cost: There are no additional travel costs for mobile physical therapy. I take insurance and charge the same rates a traditional clinic would charge.
